Returns and refund policy
30 day change of mind returns policy (non sale items)
If you would like to return your product/s due to a change of mind, we offer a full product refund (excluding delivery charges), as long as:
- The product/s being returned are unused and as new
- The original product box and internal packaging is in tact, not damaged and complete with all packaging elements included
- You notify us of your return within 48 hours of receiving your order
To request a return, simply contact us at hello@rekindledesignco.com.au within 48 hours of receiving your order and we will organise the return with our courier partner. The only cost for you will be the return delivery charge.
Once the courier is booked, they will be in touch to organise a pick-up day and time.
Preparing your goods for return
When returning your products, they must be repackaged safely and securely, exactly as they were received, to avoid any damage during transport. Best is to take note of how the product is packaged when you receive it so it can be repacked exactly the same way, including all padding and packaging.
Important is there are no loose objects and everything has ample padding to avoid surface scratches and dents to the timber during transit.
If your product has knobs or handles, please reattach them on the inside of the drawer or cupboard to prevent damage.
Refund approval
Once your products have been received by our warehouse, as long as they are deemed undamaged and as new, you will be issued a full product refund.
Items received with manufacturing defects or damaged caused during transit
If you have received your order and have noticed minor cosmetic damages or imperfections to the product, you may be entitled to a partial refund or replacement. Should this occur, please reach out to us on hello@rekindledesignco.com.au within 24 hours of receiving your item, providing images and details and we will get back to you with the particulars of the process to follow.
When a replacement is deemed the best solution, the return item/s must be repackaged exactly as they were received in the original packaging to avoid any further damage during the return transit.
If a customer chooses to return their order instead of accepting a replacement or partial refund for minor damage or imperfections, the return will be treated as a change-of-mind return.
Please note that our best discretion will be used when taking into account each individual request and we endeavour to reach a sound resolution for every single return lodged. Whilst we are processing any returns, we would greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.
Once the items have been received by our warehouse, all returns and refunds require 5 - 7 business days for processing. Once the refund has been processed, funds take between 2 - 3 business days before they are returned to your account.
Promotional Pricing & Sale Discounts
All promotional discounts and sale pricing are only valid during the specified sale period. Unfortunately, we are unable to extend discounts beyond the advertised timeframe. This policy ensures fairness to all shoppers by keeping our pricing consistent within each promotional window. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to past orders or to purchases made after the sale has ended.
Our welcome discount of 10% is not valid on sale items and cannot be combined with our bundle discount.
Sale Items – Refunds & Exchanges
All sale items are considered final sale and are not eligible for refunds or change-of-mind exchanges. We encourage customers to choose carefully before purchasing discounted items, as our usual return policies do not apply. If your item is found to be faulty or damaged upon arrival, please contact our team, and we will be happy to assist in accordance with our warranty and consumer guarantees.
Products on pre-order
We strive to provide accurate dispatch timeframes for all pre-order items; however, due to various factors beyond our control—including production schedules, shipping delays, and unforeseen logistical challenges—there may be an additional delay of up to two weeks. While we make every effort to meet the estimated timeframes, we appreciate your understanding that these dates are projections and not guarantees. We will keep you informed of any significant changes to your order’s dispatch schedule and appreciate your patience as we work to deliver your purchase as swiftly as possible.
In the unlikely event that pre-order dispatch times are delayed by more than two weeks, the customer is entitled to a full refund.
Please note: If your order includes both pre-order and in-stock items, the entire order will be dispatched once all items are available. If you would prefer the in-stock items to be shipped earlier, please contact our customer service team at hello@rekindledesignco.com.au, and we’ll be happy to assist.
